为什么人文学科很重要?
人文学科的重要性：
1、对于个人而言
社会在不断发展，每个人都要不断学习，提升自己，应对时代的挑战！而学习人文学科，特别是历史和哲学，学习这些内容，一方面可以提升自己的知识面，另外一个方面，则是可以提升自身的反思能力，不断完善自己！
2、对国家而言
人文学科也是国家竞争力的一部分，特别是哲学，文学的发展，一个国家如果在人文学科方面没有一点自己的建树，迟早会被其他国家的文化打倒，那么这个国家绝对是不会有任何的发展前途！
3、对于社会而言

1、所谓人文素养教育
像耶鲁大学、威斯康辛州立大学和相对小一点的Lewis and Clark私立学院这样的精英高校里，对学生进行人文素养教育是一项历代相传的传统。所谓人文素养教育，并不是针对某种特定职业而对学生进行的能力教育，更确切地说，人文素养教育有着完全不同的目的：
能力教育基于学生的职业倾向，而人文教育则是基于个人成长以及社会个体参与公众事务的先决条件：具备批判思想、对民俗常识和社会历史的了解，以及分辨是非的能力。
2、指导性作用
人文学科虽然不能直接产生经济效益，但能为自然科学提供正确的价值观念和导向。历史上有成就的大科学家，如居里夫人、爱因斯坦等人，无不具有伟大的人文情怀。崇拜工具技术是工业社会的特征之一，转型时期人文学科被忽视似乎也有时代的原因。
