4.Dover Street

The street is notable for its Georgian architecture as well as the location of historic London clubs and hotels, which have been frequented by world leaders and historic figures in the arts. 5.King Street

6.Canal Street
Canal Street is the main focus of Manchester's gay community and is lined with gay bars, clubs, cafés and shops. At night time (and in the daytime during the warmer months) the street is filled with partygoers, many of whom are gay and lesbian tourists from all over the world. The Manchester Gay Pride festival, formerly known as Mardi Gras and Gayfest, is held in this street and the surrounding area during the second half of August each year. The event culminates with a three day festival known as the 'Big Weekend', which is held over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The street looks across the Rochdale Canal into Sackville Park in the city centre of Manchester.
7.Regent Street
Regent Street is a major shopping street and thoroughfare in London's West End. Named after the Prince Regent (later George IV), it was built by John Nash. Mistakenly thought to be as part of a ceremonial route from the Regent's residence at Carlton House in St James's to Regent's Park, it was in fact the idea of John Fordyce, then then Surveyor-General of the Dept of Woods and Forests (now The Crown Estate). Starting as Lower Regent Street at its intersection with Charles II Street and Waterloo Place, it runs north to Piccadilly Circus then becomes Regent Street by turning westward, and curves around in a quarter-circle until it is heading north once more. It then continues past Oxford Circus becoming Upper Regent Street and ends at its intersection with Langham Place, Cavendish Place and Mortimer Street.
8.Downing Street
Downing Street is the street in London, England, which for over two hundred years, has contained the official residences of two of the most senior British cabinet ministers, the First Lord of the Treasury, an office held by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, and the Second Lord of the Treasury, an office held by the Chancellor of the Exchequer. The most famous address in Downing Street is 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the First Lord of the Treasury—and thus, in modern times, the residence of the Prime Minister, since the two roles have usually been filled by the same person (exclusively so since 1902). As a result of this "Downing Street" or "Number 10" is often used as a metonym for the Prime Minister or his or her office, whilst "Number 11" is likewise a term for the Chancellor of the Exchequer or his or her office.

Fwy,freeway,高速公路,基本等同于expressway,也可指市区快速路,中国的高速路统称为expressway(或许freeway来自toll-free way,免费高速,所以中国不适用)。 Rd,road,道路,可用于普通公路(国道、省道,县道),也可指城市内的普通街道。 此外美国地址还有 xxx Wy,way,路/街 xxx Cir,circle,环路 P.S.隐约觉得有点不对,查了一下词源。果然avenue也是来自法语,只是中世纪就进入英语,已经基本没有了外来语的感觉。
